On Tuesday, ASUS launched AMD Ryzen 4000-series. With this Asus has just updated its gaming offerings for 2020 with the new TUF and ROG desktop models. AMD Ryzen 4000-series offers so much to be excited about.
While the laptop PCs have got updated with new and improved design which offers better performance, the TUF series presents new AMD Ryzen 4000 series chips.
Asus has made the effort to update other major components important for improved performance.
The A15 offers a 15-inch Full HD IPS LCD display while the A17, as the name suggests, features 17-inch display.
The A15 notebook will be available in two colours : bonfire black (FA506) and fortress gray (FA566), whereas, the TUF A17 (FA706) will be available in one colour only : fortress gray.
A15 and A17 offer 60Hz standard refresh rate screens. However users can upgrade to higher refresh rate screens. The A15 provides an option of 144Hz whereas the A17 provides a maximum of 120Hz panel.
Coming to the raw processing firepower, the TUF series offer three options of processors. The choice ranges from a Ryzen 5 4600H processor, a Ryzen 7 4800H processor to a Ryzen 9 4900H processor. It can be configured upto 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, with two additional slots.
Moving on to the graphics, the brand offers configuration in both models with options of Nvidia GTX 1650 with 4GB GDDR6 RAM, GTX 1650Ti with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM and GTX 1660Ti with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM.
The A15 provides an additional option of a Nvidia RTX 2060 card with 6GB GDDR6 RAM.
When it comes to connectivity, both the TUF models sport integrated WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
Both the laptops are powered with 48Whr battery.
In order to keep thermals in check, both the models boast dual anti-dust fans.
The latest range starts from INR 60,990. All of the new models will be available via both online and offline mode.
The A15 FA 506 will be available on Amazon only whereas the TUF A17 FA706 will be available from mid-June on Flipkart.
