Realme Narzo 30 5G Review: Future-ready but does the fut

Realme Narzo 30 Pro, the “most powerful 5G gaming mid-ranger,” has arrived in India. A powerful MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, 5G connectivity, and a slew of other features back up the company’s claims. With a quick glance at the Narzo 30 Pro specifications listed above and below, you’d be quick to draw comparisons with some of its rivals in this price range, as well as Realme’s own X7, which was recently launched.

A 6.5-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution, variable refresh rate up to 120 hertz, and 600nits of brightness is located on the front. While I appreciate most of the screen’s features, such as resolution, details, and colour representation, the lack of AMOLED is definitely felt. Furthermore, the reds are more vibrant, and the greens have a blue tint, so what you see is sometimes cyan.

The rear camera group consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens (that works in a range of 4cm). You can capture at the maximum resolution of 48 megapixels. Other camera features include Chroma Boost, Timelapse, Panorama, Super Nightscape, portrait mode, and a few fancy filter options, among others.

At first glance, daylight shots from the primary camera appear true to life in terms of colour, detail, exposure control, and dynamic range. On closer inspection, however, you’ll notice cases of oversharpening and oversaturated reds. The AI Scene Enhancement slightly increases the vibrance.
